Less procrastination and more success

Research tells us that people of all ages who are making progress on their goals are happier. Importantly, when we achieve our goals we increase our sense of confidence, self-competence and self-mastery, and we want to achieve more.

3 tips for making goals work for you

1. Stay in touch with your vision by capturing it in a word or phrase and pinning it up on a noticeboard or making it your screen saver

2. Build your team of champions by sharing your goals with colleagues and friends, the hurdles you have leaped, the tumbles taken and listen to their words of encouragement and accept offers of support

3. Enjoy the ride by making a list of rewards to mark your progress and really stop and savour your success - Don’t wait for the finish line to celebrate
